This page collects various bits and pieces related to my academic work. I am not currently pursuing a career in academia or research so I don’t have another place to link to these things.
My academic career, such that is was, spanned from about 2015 through to 2018 or 2020 which was when I was a PhD Student at Open Lab at Newcastle University. You can read my PhD thesis using the following link:
- On Accountable Objects: Designing and Deploying Accountability Tools for Charities. It is available online as a very large HTML page (due to all of the embedded images) or you can download it as a PDF document to read locally.
My publications
I published a little bit during my PhD studies but not loads. Here’s a bibtex file with all my publications in it, if you want to add it to your reference management system:
- matt-marshall-publications.bib (.bib, 12KiB)
Here are links to individual publications on the respective venues (via DOI). I’ve also provided a download link to get a PDF copy of the paper where I own a copy.
